Spend a Saturday afternoon among curious finds, local art, and creative makers at Three Notch'd Brewing in Scott's Addition. Drop in, explore the market, and enjoy a gathering shaped by Richmond's independent artists and offbeat imagination.

Hosted by the Richmond Peace Education Center, PeaceFest returns for an afternoon of music, stories, workshops, yoga, resistance singing, and community connection. Meet local non-profits, hear from Ram Bhagat and Drums No Guns, water protectors Holy River, Duron Chavis, and Lyons Sanchezconcha — then bring a lunch and settle in for Picnic for Peace on the lawn.

There is something deeply satisfying about making your own medicine. In this hands-on workshop, we'll work with herb-infused oils, beeswax, and botanical extracts to craft two healing preparations from scratch: a calendula and plantain healing salve for cuts, scrapes, and dry skin, and a rose and chamomile skin balm for everyday nourishment. You'll learn the foundational ratios, how to infuse your own oils at home, and how to customize formulas for different skin types. Both preparations are yours to take home. All supplies included.

Renew Fest is a day of holistic wellness, creative expression, and renewal at the historic Walkerton Tavern. Explore sacred workshops, healing circles, guided meditation, yoga and movement, live music, local makers, holistic wellness vendors, and nourishing food as you gather with seekers, healers, artists, and the wider community.

Tinctures are one of the most potent and shelf-stable ways to work with medicinal plants — and they're far simpler to make than most people expect. In this focused afternoon intensive, we'll cover both the folk method and weight-to-volume ratios, so you leave with a real understanding of why you're doing what you're doing, not just a recipe to follow. We'll make two tinctures together in the studio — both to take home — and you'll leave with a formulation booklet, a list of trusted herb sources, and the confidence to build your own home apothecary. All supplies included.
