For when the weather turns.
Size: 4.5 oz.
When the weather turns grey, Trade Winds brings the warmth back. This blend carries herbs that crossed oceans and centuries. Tart rosehips, naturally rich in vitamin C, were once gathered by the basketful across wartime Britain. Elder flower has been a European favorite through the colder months for generations. Ginger, cherished in Ayurvedic and Chinese kitchens for thousands of years, and clove, once so prized that sailors crossed the world's seas to trade for it, add a comforting glow from the inside out. It's tangy, fruity and gently spiced: a cup to wrap your hands around on a cold day.
Rosehips, elder flower, ginger, cloves.
Steep 1–2 tablespoons in a cup of just-boiled water, covered, for 15 minutes to draw out the full flavour of the rosehips. Add honey and a squeeze of lemon if you like.
Not recommended during pregnancy without guidance from a healthcare provider. Consult your provider before use if you take blood-thinning medication. Ginger may aggravate heartburn.
